Attractions

Attractions in Destin

Destin is famous for its white sandy beaches but there is more to do than just go to the beach. This part really should be called things to do in Destin when it rains. We are in Florida and it will rain, the most important thing is to have fun though.

The Outlet Mall and the Destin Commons provide a great place to shop, but just remember on those rainy days everybody else is going to be shopping as well.

The market shops have some great live entertainment, restaurants and shopping.

The Track is an arcade, go cart track, small amusement park, and mini golf course all wrapped into one. If you have kids this is a place to stop by.

Big Kahuna’s has a water park with slides, mini golf and small arcade.

The Village at Baytowne Wharf is a collection of shops, restaurants, arcade, laser tag, ropes course and activities to do on the Sandestin Resort.

The Harbourwalk Village down by the Destin bridge is another area of shops, restaurants and activities including a zip line and ropes course.

There are also many boats and tours to go on, everything from glass bottom boats, to sunset cruises and dolphin cruises, and even pirate cruises.

Attractions in Copper Mountain

Copper is more than just a ski mountain. There is a tubing hill, cross country skiing and snowshoeing at the resort.

The Woodward at Copper barn is great to progress to the next level without hard landings. They have ramps, foam pits as well as biking and skateboarding ramps and trampolines.

There are also mine tours, snowmobiling and fishing in both the summer and winter.

In the summer time there are also hiking and mountain biking opportunities.

Copper Mountain is located between Vail, Breckenridge, and Silverthorne. There is a wide range of shopping opportunities from the outlet mall in Silverthorne to the shops at the Arabelle in Lionshead Square at Vail.
